DESIGN FEATURES

The KANIB HF Broadband Folded Dipole Antenna is engineered to deliver optimum, maintenance-free performance across the entire HF frequency range of 1.5–30 MHz. It supports transmit, receive, HF spectrum monitoring, and surveillance operations with consistently low SWR throughout the band.

This antenna enables NVIS, local, medium, and long-distance propagation, ensuring reliable communication under varying operational conditions. Designed for true broadband operation, it requires no tuning, no frequency taps, and no adjustments—simply select the desired frequency and operate instantly.

CONSTRUCTION

The HF Broadband Dipole Antenna is constructed using dual folded dipole arms integrated with a high-performance matching balun for efficient impedance matching across the full HF spectrum.

It can be installed in either:

• Inverted “V” configuration using a single mast, or

• Horizontal dipole configuration using two masts.

 

This versatile design delivers optimal performance across the complete HF band, eliminating the need for multiple antennas or an external Antenna Tuning Unit (ATU).
